FIZZ Bar & María Luisa Restaurant

FIZZ Bar & María Luisa Restaurant

Now Open Inside Mercer Sevilla

The Mercer Sevilla hotel is proud to announce the opening of their elegant restaurant María Luisa. The menu highlights a modern Andalusian gastronomic culture with a fresh perspective while offering a unique multi-course dining concept. The restaurant menu has been carefully conceived by the Sevillian Chef Rafael Liñán, who has been the right hand of Chef Rafa Zafra at Heart Ibiza and who also participated in the opening of restaurant Estimar in Barcelona.

Designed to satisfy a range of hunger, guests can choose from a multi-course menu that offers a choice of anywhere from two to six courses for dinner (one course must always include dessert). Regardless of the number of dishes ordered, all menus include a mini menagerie of 10 tantalizing appetizers. Utilizing the beautiful spaces of the palacio, the restaurant creates a moveable feast as appetizers are served in the hotel’s hall, followed by seating in the intimate restaurant of 18 seats with desserts then served in FIZZ Bar.

FIZZ Bar and D//2 Snackery

A distinctive "cocktail culture" has been created by renowned bartender Diego Cabrera from Twist de Naranja. Already embraced by the locals, the New York style FIZZ Bar is serving an artisan cocktail menu. D//2 is a snackery menu of deluxe finger foods to accompany your handcrafted beverages. It's not esoteric, roughly translated D//2 = dedos = fingers X 2!) At FIZZ Bar you’ll find an original menu of deluxe bites created to accompany the artisan cocktail menu. The lively bar is designed in colors that are a perfect reflection of the city: deep mandarin orange, russet red and gold accents.

Inspiration

The restaurant is named in honor of Infanta María Luisa - daughter of King Fernando the VII and Queen Maria Cristina de Borbón - who donated the city’s largest and most favorite park along with her Palacio de San Telmo. You’ll find the inspiration in the elegant dining room bathed in soothing shades of moss green, fern, celery, gold and taupe while the delicate wall coverings are an interpretation of gardens filled with birds in flight.
